I've noticed these designs by Isamu for sometime now posted on his site, and still, to this day, I am very impressed by them. I too also like the idea that the keypad could be detached from the phone if desired. I have to admit, I am a real sucker for the iPod Mini design, of which this is a reflection. The 'good news' is -- so is Apple -- as the latest Nanos are 'mini' form factors. Would I buy this phone as a replacement for my Razr? You bet! (Admittedly, it would be a tough choice between this and the one by Folletto Malefico)
Very hard to dial as the buttons are too low. If anything, the scrollwheel should slide down when in phone mode. The base is flat, which is what it should be if this is going to ever sit on some dock.
I like the fact that the kepad attaches to the base.
